Almost 40 foreign components: the composition of the Iskander that attacked the Cabinet of Ministers revealed

The Iskander missile used by Russian troops to attack the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine contained аlmost 30 foreign parts. Among them are American, British, Japanese, Swiss and Belarusian components. This was reported by the Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Indeed, the Government building was hit by an Iskander 9M727 (winged), or rather a part of it. The fuel was burning. The warhead did not work, preliminarily due to a missile hit. We will have all the exact answers,” he said.
According to Vlasiuk, during the investigation, the missiles were found to contain:
- 35 American-made components,
- 1 Japanese,
- 1 British,
- 1 Swiss,
- 5 Belarusian,
- 57 Russian components.
The foreign manufacturers include Texas Instruments, Analog Devises and Altera (USA), College Electronics Ltd (UK), Fujitsu (Japan), Traco Power (Switzerland), Integral JSC (Belarus), Mikron JSC, Production Association Arrow JSC, Angstrom JSC, Exiton Research and Development Bureau JSC, Karachevsky Plant Electrodetal (Russia).

“Compared to the missiles of previous years, there are fewer components from Europe and the United States, and more from Russia and Belarus. All the information has already been passed to our partners for sanctions response,” Vlasiuk emphasized.

Human losses and injuries
- Three people were killed, including a 32-year-old woman and her two-month-old son, who were rescued from the rubble in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
- At least 20 people were injured, including a pregnant woman and two policemen.
- The victims are residents of Darnytskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts, aged between 20 and 83.
The scale of the attack
- Russia used 810 kamikaze drones and 13 missiles, a record number of attacks since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
- In Kyiv, dozens of hits were recorded on residential buildings, schools, government buildings and infrastructure.
- A 9-story residential building sustained the most damage, with the 4th to 8th floor destroyed.
A blow to the Cabinet of Ministers
- For the first time during the war, a missile hit the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a symbol of the executive branch.
- According to experts, it was a targeted strike by an Iskander missile that did not detonate but caused a fire.
Consequences for the city
- In Svyatoshynskyi district, 197 people asked for help, in Darnytskyi district – 29.
- School #127 and dozens of apartments were damaged, and more than 80 windows were smashed.
- Utilities were working at more than 10 locations to restore electricity, transportation and infrastructure.
Public reaction
- Famous Ukrainians, including footballer Georgy Sudakov and Kateryna Repyakhova, spoke about their personal losses and the fear of their children.
- Experts point out that Russia “overwhelmed” Kyiv’s air defense system by using an excessive number of drones.
This attack has become a symbol of a new level of terror aimed not only at infrastructure but also at the psychological stability of Ukrainians.
