Meest Post has updated its rates: what has changed for customers

Meest Post has introduced a new tariff model for delivery in Ukraine. The company says that the changes will make services more transparent, predictable, and convenient for customers. This was reported by Meest, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
New weight range: 2–5 kg
One of the key innovations is the introduction of a separate weight category from 2 to 5 kg. This is one of the most popular parcel categories among customers.
According to the company, the breakdown of weight ranges will allow for:
- calculate delivery costs more accurately;
- optimize costs for senders;
- avoid overpaying for “borderline” weight.
Increased insurance amount
Meest Post has increased the amount of automatically included insurance:
- previously — 200 UAH;
- now — 500 UAH.
This means that most standard shipments will automatically be covered by a higher insurance amount without additional payments.
Separate tariff within one regional center
For delivery within a single regional center, there is a separate tariff item with a lower cost compared to intercity shipments.
Single rate for regional centers and nearby settlements
Delivery to settlements located near regional centers is charged at the city rate — without additional surcharges.
Rates for post office boxes
The company has also introduced a separate tariff grid for delivery via post office boxes.
Customers will be able to:
- choose a more convenient delivery method;
- save money depending on the delivery format;
- plan their expenses more flexibly.

The tariff already includes
- Commission for declared value up to UAH 500
(over 500 UAH — 0.5%) - Free return of shipments up to 30 kg in case of refusal by the recipient

Important: how pricing works
The parcel is charged according to the higher indicator:
- actual weight
- or volumetric weight
Volume weight formula:
width (m) × length (m) × height (m) × 250
Services do not include commissions charged by banks and other financial institutions.

TYRES AND WHEELS
Passenger cars:
- Up to R17 — 185–210 UAH (depending on the tariff zone)
- R18–23 — 210–235 UAH
Trucks:
- R17.5–19.5 — 425–520 UAH
- R20 — 560–705 UAH
- R21–22.5 — 520–660 UAH
CARGO
Actual weight up to 300 kg (0.8×0.6 m pallet) — from 850 UAH
Up to 500 kg (1.2×0.8 m) — from 1650 UAH
Up to 1000 kg (1.2×1.2 m) — from 3300 UAH.
PALLETS
Pallet formation includes:
- providing a pallet
- stacking of shipments
- securing with stretch film.
Cost:
- up to 30 kg — 40 UAH
- over 30 kg — 80 UAH for every 50 kg.
Additional services
Redirection
- Branch–branch (up to 30 kg) — 50 UAH
- Address–address (up to 30 kg) — 50 UAH
- Pallets — 200–300 UAH.
Redirection within Ukraine is calculated as a new shipment.
Storage
First 5 business days — included in the rate.
From the 6th day:
- up to 10 kg — 20 UAH/day
- up to 30 kg — 30 UAH/day
- over 30 kg — 50 UAH for every 100 kg.
Pallets — 150 UAH/day.
Delivery to a village/settlement
- Boxes and documents — 30 UAH
- Pallets — 200 UAH
- Cargo — 2 UAH per kg
- Car tires — 25 UAH
- Truck tires — 40 UAH
