Meta will pay bloggers up to $3,000 a month for Facebook posts

Meta is launching a new program to attract popular bloggers from TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram to Facebook. Content creators with large followings will be able to receive guaranteed payments of up to $3,000 per month. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing CNBC.

How much will Meta pay?

The new program is called Creator Fast Track.

It provides for the following payments:

  • $1,000 per month — for creators with an audience of 100,000 followers or more
  • $3,000 per month — for bloggers with over 1 million followers.

Guaranteed payments will last for three months, after which creators will be able to earn money through Facebook’s standard monetization tools.

Why is Meta doing this?

Meta explains that it wants to restore Facebook’s status as the primary platform for content creators.

Yair Livne, Vice President of Facebook Products for Creators, noted:

Many bloggers say it’s difficult for them to get started on a new platform. This program is designed to help them adapt more quickly.

The company is actively competing with TikTok and YouTube, which have become the main platforms for bloggers in recent years.

How much Meta is already paying bloggers

According to the company:

  • in 2025, Meta paid creators nearly $3 billion
  • that’s 35% more than the previous year
  • about 60% of payments went to Reels creators.

What are the eligibility requirements

To receive payments, creators must:

  • post at least 15 Reels over 30 days
  • post content on at least 10 different days
  • create original content.

However, the videos do not have to be exclusive to Facebook.

How bloggers can earn money

Meta offers several ways to earn money:

  • subscriptions
  • tips
  • ad integrations
  • content monetization

The company is also adding new analytics so that creators can see:

  • which views are monetized
  • estimated revenue
  • reasons for payment rejections

Why Meta is courting bloggers

Although Facebook has over 3 billion users, the platform has long been losing popularity among content creators.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company wants to restore “the original spirit of Facebook” and make it attractive to content creators again.

Meta is betting on:

  • direct payments
  • greater post reach
  • new monetization tools

What this means for the social media market

Experts believe this is another phase in the social media war for bloggers.

Competition between platforms is intensifying because:

  • TikTok dominates short-form video
  • YouTube controls video content
  • Instagram remains the main platform for brands

Meta is trying to win back part of this audience through financial incentives.
