Minimum 200 operations: new NHSU requirement for contracting

In 2025, those healthcare facilities that performed at least 200 surgical interventions between 1 April and 30 September 2024 will be able to conclude an agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) for inpatient surgeries. This was reported by the National Health Service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The NHSU noted that this is being implemented to provide Ukrainians with safe medical services,
It is also reported that the NHSU has submitted for approval to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine draft specifications and conditions for the procurement of medical services for two more packages of the Medical Guarantee Programme for 2025.
The draft specifications and conditions for the procurement of healthcare services under the 2025 MHP have been updated for the following packages:
- “Inpatient care for adults and children without surgical operations”;
- “Surgical operations for adults and children in inpatient settings.
