The Ministry of Defence has announced a competition for the positions of heads of three enterprises: what are the conditions

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine will hold a competition for the positions of heads of three enterprises that are under the operational control of the ministry. This was reported by the press service of the ministry, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Mandatory competitions for the positions of heads of state-owned enterprises were suspended for the period of martial law, but now the selection has been resumed with certain exceptions.
It is noted that the selection of candidates will be carried out by a specialised working group that will work to attract professional managers to meet the needs of the Defence Forces.
Currently, competitive selection has been announced for the positions of heads of the following enterprises:
- “Volyn Military Forestry;
- “Uzhhorod Military Forestry;
- “Digital Army.
The Ministry of Defence noted that in the future, a professional recruitment company, as well as representatives of international organisations and experts, will be involved in the selection process.
It should be noted that on 1 October, Defence Minister Rustem Umerov dismissed four of his eight deputies.
“I signed a submission to the Cabinet of Ministers to dismiss the deputy ministers of defence – Stanislav Haider (who is moving to the position of head of the minister’s office), Oleksandr Serhiy, Yuriy Dzhyhyr, and Lyudmyla Darahan (state secretary),” he said.
Umerov will announce the new appointments, including the deputy ministers, separately.
