The Ministry of Defense has updated Army: digital IDs, Pulse feed and easier access to services

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has presented a new version of the Army mobile application. The update includes a digital identity card for defenders, the Pulse news feed, and simplified access to basic services for the military. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Digital ID card Army ID
Previously, the Army ID was a nine-digit unique number for servicemen to submit electronic reports. Now, the digital ID allows you to confirm the status of a serviceman or servicewoman through a secure QR code.
- It can be used during inspections, including at checkpoints.
- The card does not replace paper documents, but is sufficient to confirm the status.
Pulse feed
The new Pulse section contains official explanations, tips and important information for the military. This should help to quickly receive up-to-date data and instructions from the Ministry of Defense.
Other updates
- Updated design and navigation simplify access to popular services.
- A notification section with important messages and statuses of reports has been added.
The Army update is designed to make digital services for the military more convenient and secure, as well as to increase the efficiency of information exchange between the Ministry of Defense and the military in the field.
What it means
In the future, the digital ID card and Pulse feed may become the main communication and status confirmation tools for all active military personnel.
