International carriers will be able to open bus routes abroad on their own
3 December 2024 12:28
The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, together with Ukrtransbezpeka, has started testing the updated carrier’s office to open international bus routes. This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the ministry, international passenger carriers will soon be able to open bus routes abroad on their own. No paperwork, no commission meetings at the Ministry, no bureaucracy – just a few clicks.
The online cabinet will make it easier, faster and more predictable to open an international route.
What exactly will be simplified and how quickly
Within 10 days after submitting the documents, the carrier will receive approval from the Ukrainian side. If the data needs to be corrected or contains errors, the carrier will receive a notification in the personal account where they submitted the documents. Errors can be corrected within 5 days.
If there are no grounds for opening the route, the carrier will receive a refusal within 14 days from the date of submission of the documents.
All these changes will come into force after the publication of the updated Procedure for the organization of international passenger transportation by road. That is, in December of this year.
How to join the testing of the online cabinet
To do this, you should log in to the portal https://services.dsbt.gov.ua/ with a qualified electronic signature.
Next, go to the “My routes” section and select the “Open route” option.
Then you need to provide basic information: type of transportation, frequency of transportation, country of arrival, city of departure and city of arrival, schedule, checkpoint.
You also need to attach a parity service agreement for the route, if required.
It is important to remember that the information entered during the testing is not saved after its completion. Therefore, if you need to open a route when the account is put into full use, you will need to enter the information again.
