What the CCC says
The TCC clarified that the National Police took Garmash to the Pechersk RTC for personal data verification. At the same time, the footballer did not have a reservation or deferral from mobilization.
After passing the military medical commission and talking to recruiters, Garmash decided to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The TCC does not say which unit the former footballer will join, but notes that the choice was made voluntarily.
“After passing the VLC and communicating with recruiters, he chose to serve in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He has not received any complaints about illegal actions of the military personnel of the territorial center for recruitment and social support,” the TCC said in a statement.
The TCC denied the information spread in social media about the use of force against Denys Harmash or extortion of bribes.
Were there any complaints about the TCC’s actions?
The agency emphasized that Denys Harmash had not received any complaints about the misconduct of the TCC employees. The information about alleged forceful pressure or bribe extortion was called false.
