“Mobilization of the cat”: TCC responds to accusations of animal abduction

Recently, a video of two men in military uniforms stopping on a street was shared on social media. The footage shows that one of them approaches a cat that was walking on the street at the time and takes it to the car. After that, the young men drive away from the scene.

This video immediately provoked a number of comments. Among them were some that alleged that the CCC had “mobilized” the cat.

The Kyiv Regional Territorial Recruitment Center responded to the accusations and denied the rumors of “cat mobilization,” "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The fact that everyone immediately accused the TCC of the cat’s abduction indicates a serious ideological flaw in our society. This means that the enemy propaganda has succeeded in the main thing – to defile the core of our resistance to the Russians, to defile those who are recruiting for our army,” the statement reads.

The CCC added that the information that the cat was stolen by the center’s employees is not true. The statement suggests that the CCC employees do not wear the uniforms worn by the people in the video, as this is not provided for by the charter.
