Mobile operators will not be deprived of electricity during power outages

Blackout schedules will not be applied to mobile operators and facilities of the security and defense forces. Such a conclusion can be drawn from the Procedure for Determining and Applying Limit Values for Electric Power Consumption updated by the Cabinet of Ministers, [kommersant] reports with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 1260 of November 1, 2024.

The updated list of critical facilities that must be provided with priority electricity supply in accordance with the established minimum load includes

– facilities of the security and defense forces according to the lists determined by such bodies or central executive authorities that manage military formations established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine

– electronic communications equipment and/or facilities of electronic communications networks according to the lists determined by the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunications Networks.

In addition, the list of priority electricity supply continues to include

– critical infrastructure facilities included in the Register of Critical Infrastructure Facilities with a connected capacity of at least 100 kW

– settlements located within a 20-kilometer zone along the state border with the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and/or settlements located within a 20-kilometer zone along the territories of active hostilities.
