Wet snow and strong winds: weather forecast for November 23

On the afternoon of November 23, most of the precipitation will fall on the Left Bank, while the West and North will be free of snow or rain. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“On Sunday, it will be dry everywhere in Ukraine, with precipitation lingering only in the east. The wind will continue to be gusty and strong, so wrap up tightly. The air temperature in Ukraine will hover around zero both at night and during the day, except that on Saturday in the south it will be 4-9 degrees, and in the east even 9-15 degrees,” the forecaster wrote.
On November 23, there will be sleet in Kyiv, and no precipitation on November 24. The northwest wind is expected to be gusty and uncomfortable. At night 0-2 degrees below zero, during the day 0-2 degrees above zero.
“We are just starting the time when such weather is very much for amateurs. Therefore, you need thick-soled boots, a long scarf with at least two twists around your neck, a supply of handkerchiefs in your bag, a jacket or coat with a hood, a valerian at least for bus rides, a reflector on your bag or clothes, and not to sit 24/7 in TV channels,” the forecaster wrote.
According to the Ukrainian Weather Center, cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine on November 23, with precipitation varying depending on the region. Light snow is forecast in the western regions and moderate snowfall in the Carpathians. The air temperature will be 3-8° below zero at night and around 0° during the day. There may be ice on the roads.
In the northern, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions, there will be significant wet snow at night, sometimes with slush build-up. During the day, there may be light wet snow. Temperatures will remain between 3° below zero and 2° above zero.
Rains are expected in the rest of the country, sometimes heavy. The air temperature in these regions will be 3-8° Celsius during the day, and in the southern and eastern regions it will reach 8-13° during the day. In Crimea, the temperature is forecast to be 8-13° Celsius at night and up to 16° Celsius during the day.
Northwest winds will reach 7-12 m/s, in the southern, eastern and central regions gusts will reach 17-22 m/s, and in the south of the country in some places up to 25 m/s.
