Wet snow and frost: weather forecast for April 11

Today, April 11, the weather in Ukraine will remain cold and atypical for the second spring month. Almost all regions will be covered with precipitation in the form of sleet and rain. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrhydrometcenter.
On this spring day, according to weather forecasters, uncomfortable weather, generous precipitation and gusty winds in Ukraine will be determined by atmospheric fronts. It will be cloudy during the day. Wet snow is expected, sometimes with rain in the daytime, and in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions there will be significant wet snow at night and in the morning. Sleet is also forecast to stick. Only the northern and Vinnytsia regions will be without significant precipitation.
At night and in the morning in most regions, there will be ice on the roads in some places. Wind will be northwest, southeast in the eastern regions, 7-12 m/s, gusts of 15-20 m/s in the southern, Kirovohrad and Dnipro regions.
At night, frosts are expected in the air – thermometers will drop to 0…-5ºС. In Crimea and the Azov region, the air temperature will be 1…4°C. During the day, the temperature in Ukraine is expected to be 1…6°C, and in the east it will warm up to 8°C. In the Carpathians, snow is forecast, the temperature at night will be -6…-11°C, during the day – 0…-5°C
On April 11, it will be cloudy in the capital and the region with clearings. The weather forecasters do not predict significant precipitation. At night and in the morning, there will be ice on the roads in some places. Northwest wind, 7-12 m/s.
At night in the Kyiv region, frosts are expected to be 0…-5°C, in Kyiv – -1…-3°C. During the day, the temperature in the region will be 1…6°C, in the capital it will be 3…5°C.
