Prices for gasoline and diesel fuel continue to decline at Ukrainian gas stations

on August 22, 2025, the average cost of fuel in Ukraine went down again. In particular, the price of A-95 gasoline dropped by 2.61% to UAH 57.07/l, and diesel fuel – by 2.72% to UAH 54.27/l. This is evidenced by the data of the portal minfin.com.ua, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
In particular, the following average prices were recorded:
- a-95 gasoline (premium) – 62.05 UAH/l (-1.49%);
- a-95 gasoline – 57.07 UAH/l (-2.61%);
- a-92 gasoline – 56.58 UAH/l (-0.12%);
- diesel fuel – 54.27 UAH/l (-2.72%);
- autogas – UAH 33.52/l (-2.21%).
Prices at the gas stations
- Ukrnafta: A-95 – 56.99 UAH/l; diesel – 53.99 UAH/l; gas – 32.99 UAH/l.
- U.GO (Naftogaz): A-95 – 57.9 UAH/l; diesel – 53.9 UAH/l; gas – 33.9 UAH/l.
- OKKO: A-95 – 56.99 UAH/l; diesel – 53.99 UAH/l; gas – 33.49 UAH/l.
- BRSM-Nafta: A-95 – 53.46 UAH/l; diesel – 50.69 UAH/l; gas – 32.52 UAH/l.
- WOG: A-95 – 56.99 UAH/l; diesel – 53.99 UAH/l; gas – 33.48 UAH/l.
- BVS: A-95 – 59.99 UAH/l; A-92 – 58.99 UAH/l; diesel – 56.99 UAH/l; gas – 34.69 UAH/l.
Price dynamics in August
- august 1: A-95 gasoline cost an average of 61.2 UAH/l, diesel – about 59.5 UAH/l.
- august 10: the average price of A-95 dropped to 59.8 UAH/l, diesel – to 57.9 UAH/l.
- august 15: A-95 gasoline cost 58.9 UAH/l, diesel – 56.8 UAH/l.
- august 21: prices fell to 58.6 UAH/l (A-95) and 56.79 UAH/l (diesel).
- august 22: a further decline was recorded to 57.07 UAH/l and 54.27 UAH/l, respectively.
Thus, over the three weeks of August, A-95 gasoline fell by more than 6.7% on average, and diesel fuel – by almost 9%.
Experts attribute this trend to a correction in global oil prices, stabilization of supply logistics and a decrease in demand in the domestic market in the second half of summer.
