Chernihiv region introduces a schedule of hourly power outages

A massive strike by Russian occupation forces caused a systemic failure in the grid, which led to the disconnection of 307 thousand consumers in several districts of Chernihiv region. This was reported by the press service of Chernihivoblenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Unfortunately, the power available in the power system is not enough to supply all consumers at once, so we are forced to take extreme measures – the introduction of an hourly power outage schedule (HPS),” the statement said.
The HHSS will be in effect from 20:00 on October 1.
Chernihivoblenergo reported that the schedule will involve four stages at once, with consumers having electricity for three hours and no electricity for six hours.
The power company emphasized that this is a temporary solution for the duration of the repair work at the damaged facilities.
