Donetsk region expands list of settlements for forced evacuation

The zone of forced evacuation for families with children has been expanded in Donetsk Oblast. The evacuation has already begun in Druzhkivka. Children will also be evacuated from the settlements of Andriivka, Varvarovka, Novoandriivka and Rohanske of the Andriivka community. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“We are starting a compulsory evacuation of families with children from the city of Druzhkivka, as well as from the villages of Andriivka, Varvarovka, Novoandriivka, and Rohanske Andriyivske community. This decision was made today at a meeting of the Regional Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations of Donetsk Oblast,” said Filashkin.
According to the CMA, there are currently about 1,879 children in these settlements.
“The enemy shells Donetsk region about 3,000 times a day – it is very dangerous to stay in the region. Take care of your loved ones – your children! Evacuate in time!” emphasized Filashkin.
Therefore, OVA urges families with children to evacuate in time. The evacuation mechanisms have already been worked out, and structural units of the administration, law enforcement and local authorities have been instructed to evacuate children and their relatives as soon as possible and provide the evacuees with proper living conditions. Filashkin urged residents not to miss this opportunity to protect themselves and their families from danger.
on August 13, the mandatory evacuation of families with children was forced from the town of Bilozerske, the villages of Blagody, Bokove, Veseloye Pole, Vesna, Svitove, Novovodyane of the Bilozerske community and from the village of Svyatogorivka, the villages of Viktorivka, Birivka, Kopani, Novovyktorivka, and Novoukrainka.
on August 8, Donetsk region announced the start of the forced evacuation of families with children from the village of Yarova and 18 villages in Kramatorsk district.
