Russian occupier Borys Polovinkin, a former actor and retired police lieutenant colonel, has been killed in Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

He became famous for his role in the Russian TV series District Detective, where he played private investigator Andrei Savelyev. However, in real life, Polovinkin turned out to be not a hero, but another Putin puppet.

His death was reported by the Russian media. According to them, the actor had been missing since April 2025, until it turned out that his body, along with four other occupants, was found after a drone strike. It is known that Polovinkin was killed near Kurdyumivka in the Donetsk region.

According to preliminary data, the occupier and his criminal group hid in a dugout, where a drone soon flew in. After a brilliant “pop”, the invaders were killed on the spot.

By the way, Polovinkin began his career in the 1990s as a police officer, serving in Chechnya, where he was promoted to lieutenant colonel. After completing his service, he decided to try his hand at acting – he starred in detective series, where he often played “law enforcement officers” and “heroes.” However, when Russia unleashed a full-scale war against Ukraine, the actor became part of the occupying army, but the Armed Forces slightly changed the script of this “detective”.
