In Khmelnytsky region, a court fined a mother whose daughter, along with her peers, called a teacher and insulted him. The ruling in case No. 688/5638/25 was issued by the Shepetivka City District Court of Khmelnytsky Oblast, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing the CJG.

According to the case, the woman improperly controlled the behavior of her minor daughter, who in October 2025, along with other teenagers, made phone calls to a lyceum teacher. At first, the children were silent on the phone, but later they used obscene language, exerted psychological pressure and called the teacher’s wife. The court recognized that it was the daughter who initiated these actions.

The court found that the mother did not provide proper conditions for the child’s upbringing, did not engage in her development and did not control her behavior, which led to the child’s committing illegal actions that have signs of disorderly conduct.

The woman did not appear at the hearing, but filed an application to consider the case without her, pleaded guilty and sincerely repented.

Taking into account the circumstances, the court imposed a fine of UAH 850 (50 non-taxable minimums) and ordered her to pay a court fee of UAH 605.60.
