Fighting on the border of Chasovyi Yar: what is known

The occupying army of the Russian Federation is storming Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. Fighting is actually already underway on the border of the town. The head of the Chasiv Yar MVA, Serhiy Chaus, said this during a telethon, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Almost 700 people remain in the city.
“These are ordinary people, residents of the community, who stayed despite the military actions that are actually taking place on the border of our city,”
– Chaus said.
He specified that most of the people who remained in the city were elderly.
Chaus noted that the evacuation of Chasovyi Yar residents has slowed down to almost zero. No one has left the town in the last week.
National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk said during the telethon that the geographical location of Chasovyi Yar gives the Ukrainian military the ability to keep important areas around the town under fire control and repel the enemy.
“In general, it can be noted that the Defence Forces are able to control the situation near Chasovyi Yar,” Muzychuk said,

According to him, in recent days there has been some activity in the Kupiansk sector compared to the previous period, when the Defence Forces did not record significant enemy activity there.
“The enemy tried to attack quite actively in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors. And the southern direction, where the enemy is trying to improve its tactical position,”
