A man was found among diapers in a truck on the border with Romania

At the Porubne-Siret checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, a man was found in a truck with diapers.

This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The State Customs Service informed that its employees stopped a truck traveling from Turkey.

Customs officers used a scanning system to detect a person inside the truck.

“The truck came from Istanbul. During the inspection, the scanner image pointed to an anomaly – a silhouette similar to a human figure,” the statement said.

Customs officers passed the information on to border guards and inspected the cargo area.

“A man, probably a Syrian citizen, was found among the diapers,” the statement said.

The violator was handed over to the State Border Guard Service.
