A female conductor was killed on the Odessa Railway during an evacuation caused by a drone threat

A female employee was killed and another passenger was injured during evacuation procedures carried out due to a drone threat on the Odessa Railway.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The incident occurred while a passenger train was stopped to evacuate people to a safe location. The conductor was fatally struck by an oncoming train, which was also heading to its evacuation stop at the time, the company noted.
In addition to the conductor’s death, one of the passengers was injured—medical professionals assess his condition as moderate.
The company noted that a thorough investigation into all the circumstances of the tragedy is underway. They have promised to provide all necessary support and assistance to the injured passenger and the family of the deceased conductor.
One of the passengers, named Sofia, told Suspilne that the incident occurred on Train No. 080 Lviv-Dnipro in the Cherkasy region near the village of Kosari.
