The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a resolution to exclude ‘Servant of the People’ Andriy Odarchenko from the Anti-Corruption Committee. The proposal to withdraw the MP from the committee was made by its chairman , Anastasia Radina. This information was confirmed in an exclusive commentary to Kommersant Ukrayinsky by Anatoliy Burmich, a member of the Committee.
“There has been no vote in the committee yet, there was only a proposal. First, we need the committee to exclude him. The next time we meet, either this week or next week, this issue will be put up for consideration and, with a high probability, I think it will be adopted. Then the decision goes to the Verkhovna Rada and is approved there. I think that no one will drag their feet on this issue, and the fact that there will be one less member of the committee may mean that someone else will be willing to fight corruption,”
– burmich said.
It should be noted that Odarchenko is still a member of the Servant of the People faction.
