Poltava region official “received” $62 million in inheritance: details

Ihor Veriga, an official of the State Treasury of Poltava region, declared $62 million in cash, UAH 3.55 million in bullion and UAH 34.5 million in precious metals. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the official’s electronic tax return.
In the document, Veriga noted that he inherited funds in hryvnia, foreign currency and precious metals from his parents.
The official’s declaration also includes UAH 16 thousand of charitable assistance from the international organization Red Rose CPS, which supports “vulnerable categories” of the population.

- an apartment with an area of 53.8 sq. m;
- a garage with an area of 20 square meters;
- land plots of 23 and 597 square meters;
- a country house with an area of 96.6 square meters;
- apartment of 66 sq m. Acquired in July 2022 for UAH 783 thousand 500.
Vehicles:
- sEAT TOLEDO 1.6 I made in 2008, worth UAH 141 thousand 500;
- kIA NIRO car made in 2016, worth UAH 693 thousand 350;
- vAZ 2103 car.
Securities:
Debt securities issued by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, in the amount of 12 pieces, with a nominal value of UAH 1 thousand.
Income:
- interest on deposit in Oschadbank – UAH 11 thousand 954
- pension – UAH 274 thousand 583
- salary at the place of work – UAH 262 thousand 970;
- social financial assistance from the Department of Social Services of the Executive Committee of the Kyiv District Council in Poltava – UAH 10 thousand 246;
- income from the alienation of securities and corporate rights in Universal Bank – UAH 8 thousand 450;
- interest on deposit in PrivatBank – UAH 30 thousand 086;
- bonuses from PrivatBank – UAH 429;
- payments from trade unions – UAH 1 thousand 300;
- charitable assistance from Red Rose CPS – UAH 16 thousand;
