In Rivne region, the heads of 7 MSECs have been replaced. Many other officials in Ukraine should also prepare

Following an inspection carried out by the Health Department of the Rivne Regional State Administration in cooperation with law enforcement officers, the heads of 7 medical and social expert commissions were replaced. This was announced in a Telegram message by the head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to Oleksandr Koval, decisions regarding other heads will be made later, as inspections of the remaining medical and social expert commissions in the region are ongoing.
In fact, similar inspections are ongoing throughout the country. And, as Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasised at a government meeting today, medical and social expert commissions as they exist will be liquidated this year.
“A group is being set up to review the decisions made by the MSECs. Inspections will continue for the next three months,” said Denys Shmyhal.

At a meeting on 25 October, the Government approved a plan to combat corruption and other offences among the MSECs, pursuant to the decisions of the National Security and Defence Council and the President.
This plan, in addition to the above-mentioned positions, also provides that
- in November, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Transformation will present a decision on digitalisation of all stages of the MSEC;
- The Pension Fund, together with the SBI, the National Police and the SSU, will conduct a rapid audit of all disability pension payments to prosecutors and other government officials;
- The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Policy will immediately submit draft laws on comprehensive reform of the MSEC to the government.
“This plan has very clear deadlines and those responsible for its implementation. This issue should be a priority for all ministries and ministers personally. The results of the implementation of the decisions of the President and the National Security and Defence Council will be reflected in the relevant conclusions,” said Denys Shmyhal.
The Head of Government added that the results of the implementation of the decisions of the President and the National Security and Defence Council will be followed by appropriate conclusions.
