It will get colder on Christmas Day in Ukraine: weather forecast for December 25

On Thursday, December 25, a significant drop in air temperature is expected in Ukraine. Christmas Day will be frosty and without precipitation, with temperatures in most regions dropping below zero. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
According to weather forecasters, the weather conditions will be formed by a high atmospheric pressure field associated with an anticyclone centered over the North Sea. Ukraine will receive cold air mass from the northern latitudes, which will cause a sharp cooling.
Mostly northwest winds of 5-10 m/s are expected, which will increase the feeling of cold, especially in open areas.

At night: -7 to -12°C
During the day: -1 to -6°C
At the same time, it will be a little milder in the southern and western regions:
- Transcarpathia and Crimea:
- 0…-5°C at night
- during the day -1…4°C
Forecasters do not predict precipitation on Christmas Day, so the weather will be dry but frosty.

Partly cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in the capital and the region on December 25.
