Drones destroy 6 bombers and damage 8 more at Russian airfield

The night attack by drones on the Russian military airfield Morozovsk in Rostov region was organised by the Defence Forces together with the Security Service of Ukraine. This was reported to Ukrainska Pravda by a source in the SBU, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

It was known that Su-24 and Su-34 military aircraft were based at the airport. The source said that the attack destroyed and damaged a significant number of them.

“At least 6 Russian military aircraft were destroyed, and another 8 were heavily damaged. In addition to the equipment, about 20 Russian soldiers became “two hundredth” or “three hundredth”,

– the source said.

These aircraft are used by Russia, among other things, to bombard Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and frontline cities of Ukraine with precision-guided missiles.

Last night, not only the airfield in Rostov region, but also Kursk and Yeysk came under drone attacks.
