Residents of three more settlements are being forcibly evacuated in Sumy region

Due to the deteriorating security situation in the Sumy region, a mandatory evacuation has been announced for residents of Hlukhiv, as well as the villages of Svesa and Esman. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Reintegration.

“This decision was agreed at a meeting of the Defence Council of Sumy Oblast. We are talking about evacuation from the settlements of Shostka district. In particular, from the city of Hlukhiv and the villages of Svesa and Esman,” the statement said.

As noted in the department, the evacuation of people from dangerous areas is free of charge.

“You can also report your desire to evacuate to the Ministry of Reintegration’s hotline 1548 or write to us on WhatsApp/Telegram/Viber at (096) 078-84-33,” the ministry said.

It should be noted that the evacuation zone for civilians in Sumy region has been expanded to include five settlements.
