Additional restrictions for men introduced in Vinnytsia region

Additional restrictions have been imposed on men aged 18 to 60 in the area of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi border guard detachment in Vinnytsia region. This was reported by the Mohyliv-Podilskyi Border Guard Detachment on Facebook, Komersant ukrainskyi

Thus, along the state border within the Yaryshiv, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Yampilskyi, Studenianskyi territorial communities of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Tulchynskyi districts, the entry of men aged 18 to 60 is prohibited, including for tourism, recreation and fishing.
The exception is for people who live, study or work within this zone, provided they have the relevant documents.
At the same time, the restrictions do not apply to owners of land plots located in these areas and persons travelling in transit from the checkpoints across the border to other areas or to checkpoints to cross it.
In addition, it is prohibited for citizens to stay on the banks of the Dniester River in the border area outside their own households at a distance of less than 30 metres from the water’s edge:
- between 01 April and 30 September – from 23:00 hours to 05:00 hours;
- from 01 October to 31 March – from 20:00 hours to 06:00 hours.
Entry of male persons aged 18 to 60 years inclusive into the above-mentioned area using district and rural roads of local importance, except for the use of the following roads for entry and movement
- T-2308 on the route “Murovani Kurylivtsi-Yaryshiv”;
- M-21 on the Vinnytsia-Mohyliv-Podilskyi route;
- P-36 on the Nemyriv-Mohyliv-Podilskyi road;
- T-0218 “Babchyntsi Yampil”;
- P-08 “Tomashpil-Yampil”;
- T-0202 “Kryzhopil-Yampil”;
- T-0225 “Pishchanka-Bolhan”;
- T-0233 “Kryzhopil-Studena”.
Restrictions also apply to the stay and movement of men of conscription age without a military ID or a reserve officer’s certificate (for military personnel and law enforcement officers – without a service ID) and without documents confirming the right to deferment or exemption from conscription.
The amendments also prohibit staying within 500 metres of the state border on the territory of the above-mentioned communities:
- the use of ships and other watercraft is prohibited;
- recreation of the local population, fishing and hunting;
- use of small aircraft of all types.
Restrictions on entry to the above-mentioned communities by males aged 18-60 years inclusive DO NOT apply to
- representatives of military formations established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine,
- law enforcement agencies (units),
- civil protection bodies (units),
- public utilities,
- ambulance services,
- other subjects of state and municipal property,
- business entities that ensure the maintenance of vital infrastructure and provide humanitarian and social services to the population – in the course of their official duties,
- as well as citizens who are registered or reside (with supporting documents) on the territory of communities located within the Mohyliv-Podilskyi controlled border area, when they enter the above-mentioned area to resolve personal issues of economic, household, social and humanitarian nature.
