Football referee Vasyl Handzii died in the war

Vasyl Handziy, an arbitrator of the Kyiv Football Referees’ College and an arbitration observer, was killed in the war with the Russian occupiers. This was reported by the press service of the UAF, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“A graduate of the Zmina Football School (Kyiv), he later worked as a referee at DUFL matches, and later became a DUFL arbitration observer, where he adequately and professionally represented the College of Football Referees and Observers of Kyiv,” the statement said.
Vasyl Handziy’s brother, Oleksiy, works as a coach at Titan Kyiv.
43-year-old Vasyl Handziy died on June 2.
The funeral will take place on June 10 at 13:15 at 16 Novohospitalna Street (morgue of the military hospital). The burial will take place at 15:15 at the Forest Cemetery.
