In Zakarpattia, a three-year-old boy glued his eyes with superglue: details

In the village of Korolevo in Zakarpattia, a three-year-old boy accidentally got superglue in his eyes. Thanks to the mother’s immediate reaction, the prompt arrival of an ambulance, and the professional actions of the doctors, the child was saved from serious consequences.

This was reported by the press service of the medical service on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Friday, August 1. Within a few minutes, crew No. 805 arrived at the scene: paramedic Otilo Fozekosh and emergency medical technician Semen Bukovetsky.

According to the boy’s mother, the kid was playing at home when he accidentally reached a tube of superglue. One wrong move and the sticky liquid got on his face, hair and eyes. The eyes stuck together and the child cried loudly.

The doctors immediately anesthetized the child, flushed his eyes, treated the damaged skin and transported the boy to the regional children’s hospital in Mukachevo for an ophthalmologist’s examination.
