On Saturday morning, January 31, a shooting occurred between a military TCK and a local resident in the Zhytomyr district. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram channel of the Zhytomyr region police.
“On the morning of January 31, a conflict arose between a military serviceman of the TCC, who was carrying out mobilization measures in the Novoguyvinsk community, and a local resident. Passersby later joined the dispute. As a result, a scuffle ensued, during which the soldier fired a shot from the starter pistol he was carrying,” the report said.
In turn, police officers from the response sector of Police Department No. 1, who were at the scene, stopped the conflict. None of the civilians were injured, and there were no physical injuries.
Law enforcement officials added that all participants in the incident have been identified and are currently under investigation.
“An investigation is currently underway, within which a final legal classification of the incident will be provided,” the publication said.
