NABU conducts searches at Mindich, Halushchenko and Energoatom: what is known

On the morning of November 10, detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) searched the homes of businessman and co-owner of Kvartal 95 TV studio Timur Mindich, as well as the Minister of Justice and former Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko. In addition, investigative actions are taking place in the office of the state-owned Energoatom company. Details of the searches
According to Ukrayinska Pravda‘s sources, the search of Timur Mindich’s place of residence is ongoing in Kyiv.
No other details about the purpose or grounds for the investigative actions have been disclosed.
Yaroslav Zheleznyak confirmed the information, noting that NABU is simultaneously conducting searches of several people, including Mindich, Halushchenko and Energoatom.
“NABU is conducting searches at Mindich’s place. Also at the current Minister of Justice, former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko and at Energoatom,” the MP wrote.
Moreover, according to the MP, Mindich himself is not at home: he was taken out of the country just before the searches.
As of now, there have been no official comments from NABU, the Ministry of Justice or Energoatom.
According to the sources, the NABU investigation may be related to energy activities, but there is no official confirmation of this information.
It should be noted that in July, the media reported that businessman Timur Mindich, who is a co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio and a longtime acquaintance of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had left for Austria.
