The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has confirmed that law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative actions with the participation of Justice Minister Herman Galushchenko.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
“The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine confirms that investigative actions have been taken with the participation of Justice Minister Herman Galushchenko within the framework of criminal proceedings,” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry also noted that the minister provides full assistance to law enforcement agencies to ensure a comprehensive, objective and impartial investigation.
“The Ministry of Justice consistently adheres to the principle of zero tolerance to corruption. If guilt is established, individuals must be brought to justice in accordance with the procedure established by the court,” the Ministry of Justice added.
At the same time, the ministry added that given the need to maintain the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation, the minister refrains from public comment until the relevant procedural actions are completed.
