This week, the Naftogaz Group increased electricity imports from the European Union to stabilize the situation in Ukraine’s energy system.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement by Naftogaz CEO Serhiy Koretsky.

According to him, the volume of imported electricity currently covers more than 50% of the needs of all Naftogaz Group enterprises, as stipulated by a government resolution.

“The corresponding amount of electricity has been released for the needs of domestic consumers,” Koretsky said in his post.

He added that actions are being coordinated with the government to stabilize the situation in the power system as quickly as possible after massive enemy shelling.

As a reminder, last night Russia carried out another massive combined attack on Ukraine using various types of missiles and strike drones. In particular, the Russians used more than 375 strike drones and 21 missiles.

Kyiv suffered the most damage: destruction and damage to residential and non-residential buildings was recorded in five districts of the capital. The enemy strike claimed the life of one person, and at least four people were injured.
