Russia’s Druzhba pipeline, one of the world’s largest with a capacity of 2 million barrels per day, has stopped pumping oil after Ukrainian drone attacks. This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi, known as Magyar, on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The Druzhba pipeline is resting. Full stop of oil pumping for an indefinite period. Greetings from the Birds of the CBC,” Brovdi wrote.

The attack on the oil pumping station
According to him, the Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the Tambov region was destroyed by soldiers of the 14th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that on the night of August 18, unmanned systems forces struck the Nikolskoye station. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out and oil pumping through the Druzhba pipeline was completely stopped.
The oil pumping station is part of the economic infrastructure of the Russian Federation and was used to supply the occupation forces.
The importance of Druzhba
The Druzhba pipeline supplies Russian oil to European countries and is a strategic object of economic infrastructure. Up to 2 million barrels of oil pass through this pipeline daily, making it one of the most powerful in the world.
Stopping the Druzhba pipeline could have serious economic and energy consequences for Russia and countries that import oil through this route.
