MP Dubinsky launches procedure for dismissal of key Ukrainian security officials

Oleksandr Dubinsky, a non-partisan MP suspected of high treason, has registered several draft resolutions from the pre-trial detention center.
This is stated on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
On Saturday, December 27, two draft resolutions on the Verkhovna Rada’s appeal to the president to dismiss the head of the Security Service Vasyl Malyuk and Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko appeared on the parliament’s website.


In addition, Dubinsky registered a separate draft resolution to dismiss Vasyl Malyuk as head of the SBU.
As of the morning of December 28, the full texts of Dubinskyi’s draft resolutions are not available on the Rada’s website.
We would like to add that during the two years of his detention, the scandalous MP registered two more draft laws, in addition to these projects. The first one is on amnesty for individuals, preventing their prosecution and punishment in connection with the end of the Russian Federation’s military aggression against Ukraine. The second is on amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine to improve the mechanism for the court to credit pre-trial detention and ensure the right to fairly serve a sentence. Both draft laws have not yet been considered by the parliamentarians.
As a reminder, on November 13, 2023, Oleksandr Dubinsky was served a notice of suspicion of high treason. According to the investigation, he agreed to cooperate with enemy special services as soon as he entered the Verkhovna Rada. on October 11-12, 2019, Dubinsky arrived in St. Petersburg, where he met with representatives of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. According to the investigation, during the conversation, the MP agreed to the terms of the Russians and “thus joined a criminal organization and became its member in order to assist in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine.”
