MPs fail to vote for dismissal of Vereshchuk and Koval

On 4 September, the Verkhovna Rada failed to get enough votes to dismiss Iryna Vereshchuk from the post of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the TOT and Head of the State Property Fund Vitaliy Koval. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
214 MPs voted for Vereshchuk’s dismissal.
“The Rada failed to dismiss Iryna Vereshchuk from the post of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine,” Zheleznyak said.
According to the MP, there was “no report from the minister and it was not expected”.

The MP also said that the dismissal of the head of the State Property Fund was supported by only 225 MPs.
“The Rada has failed to dismiss Vitaliy Koval from the post of the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine,” Zheleznyak said.
The MP added that Koval was also not allowed to present his report.

, the dismissed Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna may take over the Ministry of Justice instead of Denys Malyuska.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
Justice Minister Denys Malyuska, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets, and Head of the State Property Fund Vitaliy Koval have also written letters of resignation.
