On the National Police of Ukraine Day, the National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation a new commemorative coin “National Police of Ukraine”. This was reported by the NBU press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The National Police of Ukraine commemorative coin has a face value of 10 hryvnias. It is made of a zinc-based alloy with a nickel coating.

The obverse of the coin is identical to the obverse of the 10 hryvnia circulating coin of 2018. In the center, framed by an ancient Russian ornament, are the denomination, mintage year and the State Emblem of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin features a stylized composition showing representatives of various police units. Above the composition is the National Police emblem – an eight-pointed star with the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the center.

The coin’s circumference is inscribed with the words: NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE at the top and SERVICE AND PROTECT at the bottom.

The design of the coin’s reverse was created by Alisa Ivanova, and the design of the obverse was created by Volodymyr Demyanenko.

Almost 10 million of these commemorative coins will be put into circulation.

Part of the circulation of the National Police of Ukraine commemorative coin will be formed into specially designed rolls, each containing 25 coins. The souvenir paper used for wrapping each roll features an image of the National Police emblem against the backdrop of the National Flag of Ukraine. The circulation of the rollers is 20 thousand pieces.

The roll of 25 circulating commemorative coins “National Police of Ukraine” will be available for purchase starting July 08, 2025 in the NBU’s online numismatic products store. In total, 12 thousand such rolls will be sold. The roll will also be available at distributor banks.
