From now on, 60% of the total volume of numismatic products will be sold through the National Bank’s online store (previously – 50%). This was reported by the National Bank, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The share of sales of numismatic products through official distributor banks is reduced to 30% (previously – 40%).

The remaining 10% of the total volume of numismatic products, as before, remains to meet the representative needs of the National Bank.

The list of distributor banks that will sell commemorative coins of Ukraine and souvenir products of the NBU has been expanded. The list has been expanded to include two systemically important banks that have an extensive network of branches and a broad customer base, as well as experience in dealing with Ukrainian investment coins and numismatic products: JSC Oschadbank and JSC FUIB.

The list of distributor banks now includes five banking institutions:

  • JSC CB PrivatBank
  • JSB “UKRGASBANK”
  • JSC TASKOMBANK;
  • JSC “Oschadbank”;
  • JSC “FUIB”.

An even distribution of circulation is also being introduced: each of the distributor banks will receive 6% of the total circulation of numismatic products for sale.

The NBU has also revised its agreements with distributor banks and granted them the right to set a mark-up to the NBU’s retail price for numismatic products at a level not exceeding 150%.

Previously, distributor banks sold products made of non-precious metals at prices not higher than the NBU’s retail prices, and products made of precious metals at prices not higher than 10% of the NBU’s wholesale prices.
