The winter of 2025-2026 is different from previous ones. The occupiers are using all possible weapons to destroy the Ukrainian power grid.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko told Politico about this.
“They (Russian troops, ed.) are using everything they have to try to destroy the energy infrastructure — ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as all types of drones,” Timchenko said.
The CEO of DTEK added that this winter is different from previous ones. In addition to the use of various weapons, the situation is complicated by constant attacks on power plants and substations, which makes them more difficult to repair.
