Ousmane Dembele, winger of the Paris Saint-Germain football club, has received a prestigious award. He was named the best footballer of 2025 according to FIFA. This is stated on the social network X Association, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The winner was determined based on the players’ performances from August 11, 2024, to August 2, 2025. The winner was chosen by voting, which was attended by

• captains and head coaches of national teams
• fans;
• media representatives.

During the reporting period, the French footballer won a number of important trophies: Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France, French Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

Other nominees for this prestigious award included: Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid, France), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, England), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, Egypt), Cole Palmer (Chelsea, England). As well as several other players from PSG and Barcelona, including Ashraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Pedri, Rafinha and Lamin Yamal.
