From 4 to 21 March, the National Bank surveyed 456 enterprises. Representatives of all industry sectors voiced optimistic expectations.

The most optimistic of them are demonstrated by trade enterprises – here the IODA was 55.1. Respondents in the sector expect further increases in turnover and purchases of goods for sale, and improved their estimates of inventories of goods for sale.
Unlike in previous months, respondents in industry, construction, and services expect an increase in orders for products, including exports, construction/services, and new orders.
Employment estimates also improved slightly. Construction and trade firms expect a slight increase in the number of employees, while respondents in industry and services continue to expect staff cuts.

Against the backdrop of rising input prices, companies in all sectors continue to forecast higher prices/tariffs for their products/services.
