Not just selling drones. Zelensky revealed details of the drone deal for the US

As part of the Drone Deal, Ukraine is offering the US not only the sale of drones, but also technology.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in response to a question from an RBC-Ukraine correspondent, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Commenting on Axios’ report that the US last year rejected Ukrainian technology against “Shaheds,” the president recalled the Drone Deal and noted that this offer is still valid.

“All our drones are there, our technology is there. In principle, this is what we will be providing expert assistance to the countries of the Middle East with, but systematically, this offer was only for the US. I don’t know if they have refused it, I’m not sure, but it’s definitely a postponement,” Zelensky added.

According to the head of state, he would very much like to sign such an agreement with US President Donald Trump. It would be very good for Ukrainian companies.

Drone deal

It became known last year that Ukraine had proposed that the US sign a drone deal.

In the fall, it was known that the two countries were in active negotiations to conclude a strategic agreement.

The document provides for the supply of Ukrainian unmanned systems (UAVs, marine drones, and ground robots) for US needs in exchange for royalties, investments, and the purchase of American weapons worth tens of billions of dollars.

Washington’s key interest is Ukraine’s unique combat experience and ability to produce mass-produced and inexpensive devices.

The Pentagon sees Ukrainian technology as a critical element for the Replicator and Artemis initiatives, which are aimed at preparing for a potential conflict with China in the Pacific region.
