Missed the details: Russians launch new fake about missile attack on Okhmatdyt (video)

The Russians have started spreading a new fake: allegedly, Okhmatdyt surgeon Oleh Holubchenko, whose photo was circulated in European media on the day of the Russian Armed Forces’ attack on the children’s hospital, was deliberately doused in blood for the sake of “pictures”. The corresponding video has already begun to spread on the Internet, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".

In the video, a man in a black uniform with the inscription “Police” in Ukrainian pours a red liquid that looks like blood on a man standing against a wall. The propagandists claim that the latter is a paediatric surgeon, Oleh Holubchenko.

“It’s another Oscar for Kvartal 95, clowns,” reads one of the posts on Telegram.

However, if you compare the video with the photos from Okhmatdyt on 8 July, you will find many discrepancies between the real doctor Golubchenko and the person impersonated in the footage.

The first thing that strikes the eye is that Oleh Holubchenko’s medical uniform is perfectly ironed. But the man in the footage has it wrinkled. In addition, the Ukrainian doctor has a patch on his back at the level of the shoulder blades. But it is no longer there in the video.

On 8 July, the surgeon was wearing black Crocs, a popular rubber shoe among medical professionals that can be easily disinfected. The concrete dust from the missile strike had partially turned them white. Apparently, those who created the video did not understand the details and put the actor in black and white sneakers.

In the fake video, they overdid it with the paint and stained the left leg. The Okhmatdyt doctor’s leg is clean.

There are also inconsistencies in the entire appearance of the person who is supposed to be Oleg Golubchenko in the video. For example, it is noticeable that the unfamiliar man has a wig on his head, and his physique is much thinner than the real surgeon who performed the child’s surgery on 8 July and then helped to clear the rubble.
