The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain have reported missile and drone attacks on their territories, despite the two-week ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran. This was reported by Al Jazeera, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that air defenses intercepted missiles and drones flying from Iran. Explosions were heard across the country.

The Kuwaiti army reported that Iranian drones attacked key oil facilities, power plants, and desalination plants, causing serious damage to infrastructure.

Kuwait noted that air defense systems shot down 28 drones used by Iran in an attack at 8:00 a.m. local time.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior noted that Tehran launched UAVs at the country a few hours after the U.S. announced a ceasefire.

According to the ministry, two people were injured and several homes were damaged by falling debris.

Explosions were heard in the morning in Bahrain’s capital, Manama. Smoke rose from the area on Sitra Island, where Bahrain’s main energy facilities are located.

On the night of April 8, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had agreed to suspend the bombing of Iran for two weeks on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz be opened immediately. He noted that the U.S. had already “achieved and exceeded all military objectives” and had also “made significant progress” toward reaching a final peace agreement.

Earlier, the National Iranian Oil Refining Company also reported an “enemy attack” on the refinery on Lavan Island following U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of a two-week ceasefire, Reuters reports.

Tehran claims that the refinery was struck today at around 06:30 GMT. The attack caused a fire, and emergency services are on the scene.
