Night attack in Cherkasy region: several hits, damage to an infrastructure facility

on 10 September, another night attack by the ‘Shaheda’ took place. Several regions came under attack. In particular, there was a hit in Cherkasy region. Two people were injured in Cherkasy. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The Russian army attacked Cherkasy region at night. Most of the drones – at least 14 – were repelled by the defenders, but there were some hits.
“At the same time, an infrastructure facility was damaged in the Uman region. And in Cherkasy region, forest litter caught fire due to falling debris. The fire has also been extinguished,” he said.
“Specialised services are working. The final damage will be known later.







The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on the night of Tuesday, 10 September, air defence destroyed 38 of the 46 shaheeds launched by the aggressor country, Russia, at Ukraine.
It is noted that the Air Force’s radio engineering troops detected and escorted 48 air attack vehicles.
The Russians struck with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as with an X-31P anti-radar missile from the airspace over the Black Sea.
In addition, the occupiers launched 46 Shahed attack UAVs from Kursk and Yeysk.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the enemy air attack. As a result of the air battle, 38 shaheds were shot down.
Three drones also left Ukrainian controlled airspace, one in the direction of Russia and two in the direction of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. Three more Russian drones were lost in Ukraine.
Air defence systems were operating in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Poltava regions.
