Night attack on Odesa: residential buildings and infrastructure damaged

As a result of the attack on Odesa on the night of Monday, January 19, damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities was recorded. The shock wave shattered windows in commercial premises and in one of the car dealerships. This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, in his Telegram channel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the head of the OVA, “as a result of the nighttime enemy attack, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in the city were damaged.”

“The blast wave shattered windows in commercial premises and a car dealership. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” he said.

Specialists are currently at the sites of the strikes and destruction, and all necessary services are working.

There are no casualties in Odesa, but one person was injured as a result of the attack on the region.

Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, added that energy and gas infrastructure had been damaged. In the Odesa district, a UAV hit a high-rise building.

One person was injured.

“Two apartments, the facade of the building, windows, and private vehicles parked nearby were damaged,” he said.

In addition, damage was recorded on the territory of a critical infrastructure facility.

All relevant services are working at the scene. The aftermath of the attack is being dealt with.
