Night shelling of Kharkiv: fires, destroyed houses and victims

As a result of a combined attack on Kharkiv, fires broke out in the city. At least two people were injured. This was reported by the mayor Igor Terekhov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
On the night of Wednesday, October 1, explosions occurred in Kharkiv. Local authorities reported a strike by guided aerial bombs and ballistics.
“The enemy struck Kharkiv with a KAB – an explosion was heard in the city,” Mayor Igor Terekhov wrote.
Later he added that it was a combined attack of guided missiles and ballistics.
“As a result of the hits of the KABs in the Saltovsky and Kyivsky districts, private houses and garages were destroyed, and fires broke out. There was also a fire at one of the city markets,” Terekhov wrote.
At the moment, five people have been reported injured at the sites of the shelling.
According to Terekhov, a heavy fire was recorded on the territory of a garage cooperative.
Rescue services continue to work.
