Nova Poshta holds the line: today enemy drones attacked Sumy

At night, Sumy came under attack again. Two enemy kamikaze drones hit the warehouse: the Nova Poshta terminal was destroyed and a large-scale fire broke out. Unfortunately, an employee of the contractor company was killed. This was reported by Nova Poshta, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“2576 parcels that were on the territory of the terminal burned down. The announced value of the lost parcels is over UAH 3.3 million. We are contacting our customers to pay compensation,” Nova Poshta said.
They also said that they were quickly rebuilding parcel sorting and logistics, but did not rule out delays in shipments from Sumy and to the city from all regions of Ukraine.
According to local authorities, 3 explosions occurred in the Sumy community last night during an attack by enemy drones. Non-residential buildings and 20 cars were damaged. A civilian was killed. on March 6, anti-aircraft gunners shot down 12 enemy Shaheds in the sky over Sumy region.
It’s not the first time Nova Poshta branches and terminals have come under enemy attack
On the night of March 5, the enemy launched a massive attack on Odesa, and one of the “Shahed” destroyed a Nova Poshta office in the suburbs. According to Nova Poshta, fortunately, no one was injured.
the occupants turned 606 parcels with a total declared value of over UAH 1 million into ashes. Nova Poshta has promised to compensate customers for the loss of their parcels.
Enemy troops are targeting civilian objects. The new post office is also targeted.
November 2022. In Dnipro, a Russian drone attack on one of Nova Poshta’s facilities destroys equipment and almost all parcels.
December 2023. One of the Russian drones hits between a Nova Poshta branch and terminal in Kherson. The branch and office premises burned down completely, and the terminal was severely damaged.

may 1, 2024. Odesa. A rocket from the Rashists hit the sorting depot and the Nova Poshta office. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries among the employees.
on October 24, 2024, the Russians launched a targeted attack on the Nova Poshta office in the village of Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk district. The attack killed two people and injured another.
But enemy attacks do not stop the work
Just one example. In the city of Konstantinovka in Donetsk region, which is currently under massive enemy shelling, Nova Poshta is still present. All branches are working to deliver.
As you know, the city has a special access control regime and the company has to solve additional logistical issues. But the work continues.
Nova Poshta’s support for the military does not stop either
Over the three years of full-scale war, Nova Poshta has delivered 3.1 million parcels or 118.2 tons of aid. The most common items sent to the front are:
– equipment (tablets, radios, etc.)
– parts for drones;
– auto parts.
Most of the aid is sent to Donetsk and Kharkiv regions from Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrovs’k regions.
Together with the Come Back Alive Foundation, Nova Poshta collects money for electronic warfare, radio communications, communications, and transportation for the military covering Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, among others.
