New leadership at Naftogaz: Who Has Been Appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine held its first meeting in its new composition, during which the board’s leadership was elected.
This was reported by [Komersant], citing the company’s press service.
Canadian expert Duncan Nightingale, who has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, was appointed chairman of the board.
The position of deputy chairman was taken by the state representative and State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Kostyantyn Maryevych.
Formation of specialized committees
During the meeting, a decision was made to establish three key committees for the effective management of the company.
- The Appointments, Remuneration, and Evaluation Committee is headed by Robert Sleshynsky. Its members also include Duncan Nightingale and Kostyantyn Maryevych.
- The Audit and Finance Committee is chaired by Erik Rasmussen. The committee members are Tor Martin Anfinnsen and Anna Artemenko.
- The Strategy and Sustainability Committee is chaired by Tor Martin Anfinnsen. Its members include Erik Rasmussen and Anna Artemenko.
In addition to these appointments, the Supervisory Board officially approved the schedule of regular meetings for the entire year of 2026.
The board members also reviewed a number of pressing operational issues necessary to ensure the stable operation of the national company.
The meeting took place on March 12, 2026, in Kyiv. All members of the Supervisory Board were present in person.
