New rules for returning after the NWO: Rada extends the law until spring

10 January 06:23

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a law on the right to “quickly return” those who have committed sabotage to military units for service from January 1 to March 1, 2025, without any consequences. This was reported by MP Solomiya Bobrovska, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The relevant provision is provided for in the draft law “On Amendments to the Law ‘On Military Duty and Military Service’ on the Peculiarities of Registration of Citizens of Ukraine for Military Service and Their Medical Examination During Basic Combat Training,” which was supported by 298 MPs.

Thus, the law amended the norms in the “Final Provisions” of the law on the emergency service.

Previously, the relevant opportunity for servicemen to return after the first combat training without criminal liability was until January 1, 2025.

By the decision adopted today, the Rada extended the period of opportunity to voluntarily return after the first combat zone without consequences until March 1.

“The commander will continue to have three days to reinstate him in service, as it was the case for the previous 2 months. But to all those who think that there will be another extension of the draft law, this will not happen,” Bobrovska said.

She added that after March, the criminalization of the first SDS is also likely to return. The law has yet to be signed by President Zelensky.

The law on returning from hostilities

on November 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that abolishes the punishment for those military personnel who decide to voluntarily return to service after the first unauthorized absence from their units.

According to the document, during martial law, military personnel who first left military units or places of service without permission or deserted and voluntarily arrived at the place of service and expressed their willingness to continue military service, military service and the contract are extended.

Salary payments, benefits and social guarantees, as well as all other types of support are resumed for such servicemen.
